Cebu Milo Marathon 2010

A chicharon vendor ruled the men's division of the sixth leg of the 34th Milo Marathon on Sunday which was participated in by a record more than 23,000 runners at the Cebu Sports Center. Adonis Singson took a break from his daily chores of selling chicharon by trying his skills into sports that surprised the big field of runners when he finished the 21 kilometers run in just 1 hour and 15 minutes. He win the 10,000 pesos prize and earned a trip to the National Finals in Manila on December 12. While the marathon is still going, the Milo Cheerdance Competition was started at around 7:30 in the morning. It was participated by the Universities here in Cebu but the only CHAMPION was the Southwestern University represented by the Maritime Regiment in college division and also the SWU High School in High School division. They we're both champions and bring pride and honor to their university. The battle of the universities in cheerdance competition is not already done because they will meet again in ALAY-LAKAD Cheerdance Competition. Everybody will compete again in order to get the CHAMPIONSHIP crown and bring to their university. This will gonna be a wonderful experience again if you will watch.

From the start of the month of August, I was so excited in all of the activities that will going to happen for this month. First, was the Charter day of Cebu City happened last August 6, 2010. There was no class from Friday to Sunday and the Maritime cadets have also their liberty day. Second, was the SIGLAKAS '10 that was August 11 - 15. It was a very enjoyable event that happened in this month. The Maritime College made history and won as the OVERALL CHAMPION of all the Colleges in Southwestern University for the first time. That day was a glorious day for the Maritime cadets after beating the Nursing College. And next year, the Maritime will defend their title as CHAMPIONS and become CHAMPIONS again to give pride and honor to the Maritime College. Other long weekend in this month was the Death Anniversary of Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino last August 21, 2010. That was three days that have no classes from Saturday to Monday and last August 22, 2010 the Maritime cadets have their Victory Party at Catmon, Cebu.

Before the month end, there was long weekend again because of the celebration of the National Heroes Day. But the Maritime cadets didn't enjoy this weekend because there was NO LIBERTY anymore (only shorepass). The month of September is nearly comes and the Maritime Cadets are too busy for the preparation of the Presentation of Sponsors this coming October. And there is another set of events that will happen in the month of September and I was so excited again, especially for the incoming Maritime Week. So, let say goodbye to the month of August and let's face the coming month of September.

This day, I just continue scanning the website w3schools.com to study more about the HTML. I'm so happy this day because my learning about this topic is improving. I hope, I will know more about HTML so that i can make my website more presentable during my presentation. ^_^

Colors - the colors are nice and fitted to the game.
Banners - the banner was so cool, very animated! I think they spent a lot of time to create this banner.
Ads - there is only 1 ad in this website and it was also related to the game. Very cool! I think they are using Flash MX in making this one.
Links - the links was nice, when you put the mouse to the word that has been link it will highlight. Very very COOL!
Site Maps - all the site maps are organized and fully animated!
Navigability - it is easy to navigate in the page because of the help of Site Map.
Content - the content was very organized and readable. It only stay on the topic.
Pictures - the pictures are too many but not crowded because it was edited by Photoshop and it was all taken to the game so it still nice!

nEw yEaR's rEsoLution.'-

The Year of the OX (2009) has arrived, we have to change everything to our life especially in our personality. The first thing I have to change in my personality is that being lazy and irresponsible in assignments, activities, projects and other requirements in school. I know it's complicated to change those said things but...it's new year and it should be NEW me, so that was my new year's resolution... HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody... have a everlasting life.
